GCS Base Station Setup

Turning on

If not connected to power supply, unplug microhard first and then plug in after GCS has started (blue light is illuminating)

Hold down the power button for ~4 seconds, and the light will illuminate blue to show the system is powering on.

Turning Off

Tap the blue power button. A dialogue box will pop up. Select "Power Off"

Connecting Microhard

The microhard uses USB for power, and ethernet for data. The green square next to the "Microhard" text indicates things are connected correctly

Connecting Ethernet (outside network)

Connect your ethernet cable to the GCS station. The GUI on front will display the IP that the network has assigned to the device. You can later use this IP to connect to telemetry and video

Not Connected
Connected

Connecting to Hotspot

You can connect to the GCS station's wifi hotspot as well. The wifi name is if1200a and the wifi password can be found in IP Addresses & Logins as well as the ip of the GCS station you will enter into connected devices (to view video and telemetry)

Atlas & UXV Connections

Both Atlas and UXV will connect to the GCS station over hotspot. They have both been pre-configured to connect to telemetry and the VIO video stream. HOWEVER, here are the following connection details

Telemetry: UDP / 10.42.0.1 / 14550

RTSP: rtsp://10.42.0.1:8554/live

Note for power cycling

Power cycling of the GCS and not the UAV will bring back telemetry but not video

Power cycling of the UAV but not the GCS SOMETIMES brings back video. ~50% success rate at the moment

Suggest power cycling both.
