OUTDATED BECAUSE WE NOW AUTOMATICALLY AUTHENTICATE RATHER THAN SYNCING
Start up the system as normal.
Camera Is powered
camera connected to SBC
SBC is powered
Computer connected via ethernet
On the ILX-LR1, press the Menu button.
Navigate to Network > Cnct./PC Remote
Select PC Remote Function
Select Pairing
Now go to terminal and SSH into the Banana Pi
Go into the Build Directory
Run the Sony Camera App
Enter the 1 for the ILX-LR1, then enter 1 for Remote Connection
Now the Camera should pair to the PC
At this point you should not have to do this pairing process again and it should persist on reboot.
Note: Certain functions on the App will not work when the camera is in certain modes. For example, When the Camera is in Auto-Focus mode the Shutter Commands will not work because it will require manual mode for this.
