VPN ONLY on for manual C2 - pick your VPN

We only establish a VPN connection when a client wants to take over manual control via joystick

  • Good

    • Allows us to have C2 over the drone, but only the ones that need it at the time

    • Customers can add the drone to their own tailscale (but will lose the ability to control C2 over elevate, they could install zerotier and use that instead)

    • We start with the way Auterion does it, and then build this in as a feature

  • Bad

    • Takes a bit more coordination with backend

    • If customers use their own tailscale they will lose this feature
