VPN Solution always on - tailscale/zerotier

Always keep a tailscale connection.

• Good

  • Makes it easy to communicate back and forth

  • Tailscale makes it easy to setup - so we don't have to manage all of this

  • Enables C2 over joysticks

  • Solves the "server can't initiate request" problem

• Bad

  • Some customers, especially those who want to modify/add to UAV, might want to add their OWN tailscale private network - not an easy way to add multiple

  • We will be relaying traffic through tailscale - surprisingly doesnt add THAT much latency, but it would add some

  • Creates a failure point which we dont control

  • Subscription to tailscale will probably be required
